The most significant cycle of prints depicting Bohemian history was initiated by Antonín Machek and, beginning in 1820, many important and overlooked Czech artists, including Josef Führich and Václav Mánes, gradually worked on it. The cabinet will present selected images from this extensive body of work in two variations.
