At the National Gallery Prague, we

since the beginning of our existence. Culture is a cornerstone of our
state identity and social cohesion. Understanding our own culture
protects us from negative influences such as xenophobia or consumer
attitudes to the world.

The
National Gallery Prague is one of the strongest brands in the Czech
Republic. We are the oldest cultural institution. We take care of the
biggest and oldest collection of art and the important historical
landmarks that house it. Annually, we welcome over 500 000 visitors. We
are an active member of the Association of Museums and Galleries, Bizot
Group, and The International Council of Museums, and we follow its
codex. We cooperate with our partners on meaningful projects in
accordance with the SDG goals of the UN based on shared values and
always in relation to our mission.
