Through its selected objects mainly from the fields of decorative art, sculpture, book illumination and architecture, the exhibition will explore the uniquely rich spiritual and artistic culture of the Benedictine Order in Central Europe during the Early Middle Ages. Emphasis will be also placed on the history of Central European states in the Early Modern Era, while underscoring the irreplaceable role of the Benedictine Order in that epoch.
The exhibition is held to 15 March in the Waldstein Riding School. **Extended opening hours: 9 to 15 March from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. with exception of Thursday 12 March from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.**
