The exhibition, organized by the National Gallery in Prague in cooperation with the Society of Czech Architects and the Czech Chamber of Architects, will present the participants of the 23rd year of the prestigious competition, Grand Prix architektů – National Architecture Award. It is open to Czech and international architects, designers and artists who realized their works on the territory of the Czech Republic to 31 January 2016. The competition is divided to seven categories – new building (N), reconstruction (R), interior (I), family house (RD), architectural design, small architecture and art in architecture (D), urbanism (U), and landscape art and garden architecture (K). Each category has its own award and eventual honourable mention, the main prize being the Grand Prix of Architects, which can be awarded in any category. The premiere of the exhibition in the Trade Fair Palace is accompanied by author’s models while many of them had become permanent parts of the Collection of Architecture of the National Gallery in Prague.
