How do I become a member of the NGP Club of Friends?
You can purchase a membership in one of the following
ways:
- At any NGP ticket office during opening hours – your membership card will be issued immediately upon providing login details. If you are renewing in the same category, no new card will be issued.
- By completing the online application form and paying the annual fee.
When does a purchased membership start?
The membership card is valid for one year from the
date of purchase. When renewing, the validity of the new membership begins immediately
after the original one. If your previous membership has expired, the new
membership is valid from the date of purchase. A confirmation email with the
purchase details and the expiration date of your membership will be sent to you.
How can I find out when my purchased or renewed membership
expires?
The expiration date of your membership is provided in
the confirmation email containing the electronic version of your membership
card, which you will receive on the day of purchase. If you buy your membership
at the ticket office, the receipt you receive will also indicate the expiration
date. In addition, you will get a reminder email 30 days before your membership
expires.
Is there an electronic version of the membership card?
Yes, you can use the membership card in both its
physical form and as an electronic QR code stored in Apple Wallet or another
digital wallet on your phone. When using the electronic version of the card,
you will be asked to verify your identity when entering NGP exhibitions and
displays.
How can I get an electronic version of the membership
card?
After purchasing a membership, an electronic version
of your card (QR code) will be sent to the email address you provided.
How can I collect a paid membership purchased online?
You can collect your membership card at the NGP box
office or have it mailed to you (with postage covered by NGP). You can choose your preferred method of
collection on the form when purchasing your membership. When collecting your
membership card at the NGP ticket office, you will be asked to provide your
name, email address, and, if applicable, the membership card number. The number
will have been sent to you on the day of purchase along with the electronic
version of the card and is located beneath the QR code.
How do I purchase a Senior Membership and who is it
for?
Senior Membership is only available for individuals 65
years of age or older. It can be purchased at the NGP ticket offices or ordered
online through the website www.ngprague.cz. Senior Membership holders may be
asked by security to verify their age when entering the NGP exhibition space by
presenting a valid photo ID.
How do I purchase a Junior Membership and who is it
for?
Junior Membership is only available for individuals between
16 and 26 years of age. It can be purchased at the NGP ticket offices or
ordered online through the website www.ngprague.cz. Junior Membership holders
may be asked by security to verify their age when entering the NGP exhibition
space by presenting a valid photo ID.
Would you like an invoice issued to your employer?
Please send us your contact details, employer details
including company identification number (IČ), and your selected membership
category to klubpratel@ngprague.cz. Please note that it typically takes a
minimum of one week to issue the card, so we appreciate your timely submission of
this information.
What is on the membership card?
The membership card of the NGP Club of Friends
contains the member’s name, surname, date of issue, and a numeric and
identifying QR code. The membership card is not transferable.
How do I renew my membership?
You can renew your membership:
- At any NGP ticket counter during opening hours. When renewing, please provide the number of your original membership card (a new card will not be issued).
- By filling out the online form and paying the annual fee.
How do I renew my membership online?
Visit the ngprague.cz website, select the appropriate
category from the menu, then click "Renew membership”. Enter your
membership card number and the form will be pre-filled for your convenience. Follow
the instructions on the page to confirm your order. After completing the
transaction, you will receive a confirmation email with your membership’s current
validity.
When using a gift voucher, enter the unique gift code
you have into the "Voucher Code" field in the pre-filled form. After
a valid gift code is entered, the amount will be automatically deducted.
Does a new membership card have to be issued when
renewing membership?
When extending your membership in the same category,
there is no need to issue a new card. The updated expiration date is always
included in the confirmation email your receive on the day of the renewal.
How will I know when my membership expires when
renewing?
The expiration date of your membership is included in
the confirmation email with your electronic membership card, which will arrive
on the day of purchase. If you buy your membership at the ticket counter, you
will receive a tax receipt that also indicates the expiration date.
Additionally, a reminder email will be sent to you 30 days before the
expiration.
GIFT VOUCHERS
Can I purchase a membership as a gift?
Yes, you can gift a membership in the NGP Club of
Friends by purchasing a gift voucher. The recipient can redeem it at
www.ngprague.cz or at NGP’s ticket offices. Upon presenting the voucher, they will
receive membership at the level corresponding to the type of voucher, valid for
one year from the date of redemption. The voucher must be used within six
months of issuance and can also extend the validity of an existing NGP Club of
Friends membership card.

How do I buy a gift voucher online?
Visit ngprague.cz, select the appropriate category,
and click “Gift a membership”. Fill out the purchase form and confirm your
purchase following the instructions on the page. After completing the
transaction, you will receive a confirmation email with a unique code that you
can gift.
When do I have to redeem the gift voucher by, and do I
need to do so at the NGP ticket counter?
The voucher must be redeemed within six months of
issuance and can also extend the validity of an existing membership card. The
expiration date is printed on the voucher, and it can be redeemed online on our
website.
How do I redeem a gift voucher online?
On ngprague.cz, select the appropriate category and
click “I want to become a member”. Fill in the purchase form and enter the
unique gift code in the “Voucher Code” field. After entering a valid code, the
corresponding value will be automatically deducted. Follow the instructions to
confirm your purchase. Once your transaction is completed, you will receive a
confirmation email with the current status of your membership.
Can I redeem an expired gift voucher?
Vouchers must be redeemed within six months of
issuance; they cannot be redeemed or extended after this period. You can find details
about redeeming the voucher on the voucher itself.
NGP VISIT
What is the procedure for entry to the NGP for members
of the NGP Club of Friends?
All members must present a valid membership card or
its electronic version as a QR code when entering exhibitions and displays.
Having a membership card means you don’t need to get a ticket at the box
office. Please note that access restrictions, including capacity limits, to the
NGP premises and the Waldstein Riding School also apply to members of the
Friends of the NGP Club.
Can I use my membership card in electronic form?
Yes, but if you use the electronic version, you may be asked to verify your identity when entering NGP exhibitions and displays.

Sometimes, queues may form before entering the
exhibition or display due to limited capacity. Do members of the NGP Club of
Friends receive priority entry?
Queues may form before entering the NGP premises and
the Waldstein Riding School due to limited capacity. Any restrictions on entry
apply to members of the NGP Club of Friends as well. If a queue forms before an
exhibition or display, members of the Club do not receive priority entry.
Time slots must be reserved for the exhibition. Does
this obligation also apply to members of the NGP Club of Friends?
Yes, if the exhibition has limited capacity, members
of the NGP Club of Friends must also reserve a spot for a specific day and
time. They can do this online in the purchase form for the exhibition after
selecting the ticket type for Club members. On the day of the event, they must
present their ticket along with their NGP Club of Friends membership card.
USING YOUR MEMBERSHIP
Do you have a valid membership but are not receiving
email invitations to NGP events?
Start by checking your SPAM, Junk, or Bulk email
folders and add klubpratel@ngprague.cz to your contact list. If you still don’t
receive emails after that, please contact us at klubpratel@ngprague.cz so we
can verify your information.
Would you like to receive emails from the NGP Club of
Friends to a different email address than the one you provided in your application?
Write to us at klubpratel@ngprague.cz with your new
email address where you would like to receive information from the NGP Club of
Friends.
When and how do we first contact a new member of the
NGP Club of Friends?
You will receive your first informational email after
purchasing your membership, along with an electronic version of your membership
card. This correspondence from the Friends of NGP will include information
about the NGP Club of Friends, invitations to member events, public program
tips, and more.
How can I take advantage of the “Bring Two Friends to
the NGP with a 50% discount” option?
Discounted admission for accompanying persons must be purchased at the NGP ticket office before visiting. Tickets for accompanying persons must be redeemed on the day of purchase.

Where can I find a list of events organised for NGP
Club of Friends members?
For information about NGP Club of Friends member
events, go to the NGP Club Events section of our website. We also provide notifications
about new events in our regular monthly newsletter.
How do I book a place at an event for NGP Club of
Friends members?
Guided tours of NGP collections and temporary
exhibitions, along with other events designated for the “NGP CLUB OF FRIENDS”,
are exclusively for members and free of charge. You can find an overview of
member events on our website in the “NGP Club of Friends” section.
Notifications about these events will be included in our regular newsletter.
Reservations are required through the GoOut form available under the “Ticket”
button for each event. To verify your membership, please enter your membership
card number located below the QR code..
What if an event for the NGP Club of Friends members
is fully booked?
Due to the high demand for the Friends of the NGP Club
program, we cannot guarantee entry to all members for guided tours. However, if
an event reaches full capacity, we can place you on a waiting list. If a spot
becomes available, we will reserve it for you. To request a spot on the waiting
list, please send your desired date and your membership card number to klubpratel@ngprague.cz.
What is the difference between events for the NGP Club
of Friends and NGP guided tours?
To receive information and invitations to the free
events of the NGP Club of Friends, you need to hold a valid membership. In
contrast, guided tours in the NGP buildings are open to the public, and no
membership is required to participate. Members do receive a discounted
admission of 50 CZK for guided tours at NGP. However, they do not receive
priority booking for events organised by the NGP.
Where can I find a list of events organised by NGP?
You can find information about NGP’s public programmes
on our website in the section “Exhibitions and Events – Guided Tours”, which
includes specific dates, descriptions of each program, and reservation forms.
How do I book a spot for NGP guided tours and events?
Reservations can be made online via the GoOut portal.
The booking method for each specific event is detailed on www.ngprague.cz.
