The cabinet presents a set of drawings by the unparalleled Czech landscape painter Antonín Chittussi. The cycle of twelve charcoal drawings was created between 1886 and 1887 and captures the landscape with remarkable sensitivity and subtlety, revealing the artist’s Barbizon experience.
