Dance in the Gallery: Artist at work, creative residency for
choreographers
Dance in the Gallery is an interdisciplinary project that combines movement and visual arts in the site-specific space of an art museum, National Gallery Prague.
The coaching residency brings regularly the opportunity to observe artists at work in the National Gallery Prague. The Dance in the Gallery series is characterised by interdisciplinary collaboration between dance and visual arts. Visitors have the opportunity to perceive artworks through expressive means and movement.
During the residency, renowned international coaches arrive to Prague and work with selected young artists and international group of choreographers develop their work. The artists' performances will be held in the exhibitions and unexpected corners of the Trade Fair Palace.
Residency is coached by Jean Gaudin (FR), Alice Chauchat (GER/FR). The programme is organised by the SE.S.TA Centre for Choreographic Development in collaboration with the National Gallery Prague.
