A graduate in
Aesthetics from the Faculty of Arts of Charles University, Jana Klímová focuses
on educational activities related to Renaissance and Baroque art. She makes
concepts of lectures, fine arts workshops, summer studios, programmes for
schools, worksheets for children etc. for permanent exhibitions and
expositions. From 2018–2020, she has cooperated on educational activities
linked to Old Masters in the Schwarzenberg Palace, the new permanent exhibition.
Jana Klímová has co-authored the publications titled Abeceda (National
Gallery in Prague, 2000) and Rembrandt and his Scholar (National Gallery
in Prague, 2015). Focusing on art mediation to visually impaired visitors, she
has curated the Touches of the Baroque tactile exposition on display in the
Schwarzenberg Palace.
