Focusing on contemporary
and modern art mediation to children, Barbora Škaloudová creates methodological
programmes for school and teachers (especially for kindergartens and primary
schools). She produces concepts of study materials for teachers, interactive
exhibition studios and publications for children, cooperating on the
development of educational projects and teacher seminars. Barbora Škaloudová
worked in the Museum of Decorative Arts and the Galerie Rudolfinum, and since
2002, she has worked in the National Gallery Prague. A graduate in Art from the
Faculty of Education of Charles University, she has participated in study stays
in Denmark (Seminariet FF), the Spacex centre for contemporary art in England
and the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain. Barbora Škaloudová collaborates
with organisations focusing on educational and fine arts development
(Nipos-Artama, Insea, Step by step).
