Curating the Collection of 19th Century Art and Classical Modernism since 2019, Martina Bezoušková specializes in 19th century foreign painting and classical modernism. Furthermore, her research and publication activities focus especially on sculpture of the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, Czech-French art relations, and the topic of Czech Baroque Revival. Dr Bezoušková completed both her master’s and doctoral programmes of study at the Faculty of Arts of CU, and a one-semester exchange programme at the École Pratique des Hautes Études in Paris.
