The Scientific Council of the National Gallery Prague is an advisory body to the General Director. The opinion of the Council is sought in important matters of the institution’s development and regarding various NGP activities: science and research, professional operations, collection assembling, exhibitions, publishing, cultural education and others. Fundamental materials are presented to the Scientific Council by the Management of the NGP, and the members of the Council have the right to put forward their own proposals concerning principal institutional affairs.
