Marek Prokůpek is professor of Arts Management at KEDGE Business
School in France, where he teaches courses in arts management, museum
management, cultural economics and policy, art finance and fundraising,
and art market. Prior to that, he worked as Postdoctoral Fellow at LabEx
ICCA (Industries Culturelles et Création Artistique) in Paris and as
Assistant Professor in Arts Management at Prague University of Economics
and Business, where he obtained PhD in 2017. His research interests lie
in the area of business models of arts and cultural organisations,
finance in arts and cultural sector and fundraising and philanthropy in
museums and its ethical aspects and dilemmas. He has published several
book chapters and articles in outlets such as International Journal of
Arts Management, International Journal of Cultural Policy, Journal of
Arts Management, Law and Society, Journal of Philanthropy and
Marketing, and Museum Management and Curatorship. Marek is also a Board
Member of the International Committee for Museum Management that is part
of the International Council of Museums (ICOM).
