Guidelines for organisers of events at the National Gallery in Prague (NGP)

By entering the NGP premises, visitors (hereinafter referred to as “NGP visitors”) agree to be familiar and to comply with the NGP’s Visitor Regulations and these Event Organiser Guidelines.

Prohibited behaviours include but are not limited to:

a. Expressing, disseminating, or publicly displaying racist, defamatory or morally objectionable slogans and images;
b. Publicly inciting hatred against any nation, ethnic group, race, or religion;
c. Engaging in disorderly conduct or grossly offensive behaviour;
d. Disrupting the proceedings of the event;
e. Using violence against other visitors or NGP staff;
f.  Accessing the stage (or any other area designated for event organisers) or throwing objects on the stage.

To ensure the safety of all visitors and safeguard the NGP exhibits, all individuals entering the NGP premises may be selected for a random security check of their luggage. Refusal to comply with the security check may result in denial of entry to the NGP premises.

Any individual will be ejected from the NGP premises whose behaviour arouses suspicion of committing a crime or misdemeanour, and the organiser reserves the right to involve the Police of the Czech Republic.

Prohibited Items

NGP visitors are prohibited from entering the NGP premises with weapons or other dangerous items (including corrosive materials, toxic and illegal substances, compressed items, etc.). Political and advertising materials can only be brought in with prior consent of the organiser.

Prohibition of Promotion of Political Parties or Movements:  

All individuals entering the NGP premises are required to refrain from promoting political parties, movements, or associations on the premises unless otherwise agreed with the organiser.
