The National Gallery has decided to gradually mediate the temporarily closed exhibitions to visitors and art lovers with new online content. We direct our current activities to the public mainly to social media.
Virtual tours, livestreams or online workshops are just a brief account of what we are preparing for our audience. We will cover not only recently opened exhibitions, but also permanent exhibitions or places that are normally hidden from visitors.
DO YOU HAVE A MINUTE?
The successful series of short videos about selected works from the NGP collections continue on Instagram NGP.
ONLINE EXHIBITION GUIDED TOURS
Take a look with us at the exhibition spaces together with their authors. The curators and educators of NGP will guide you through the current exhibitions. The well-thought-out concept contains several different activities related to the exhibition – annotated videos, interactive workshops for children or a 3D tour and other special programs. The videos will be gradually published on social networks and the NGP website.
360° VIRTUAL TOURS
The National Gallery Prague together with the Bohemian Heritage Fund prepared interactive virtual tours of selected permanent exhibitions of the National Gallery. The tours were technically processed by the VR_MUSASHI and Scan3D studios. They are accessible to viewers for free.
- The virtual tour of the permanent exhibition 1796–1918: Art of the Long Century includes curators texts.
- The newly made virtual tour maps the extensive permanent exhibition of the Old Masters in the Schwarzenberg Palace, which is divided into three parts. With the green button, viewers can also visit other floors of the exhibition space.
